But the Emirati group is now divesting itself of Mumbai City, of the Indian Super League.
The Indian media outlet Khel Now reports that City's owners have decided to withdraw from the Indian club, in which they have held a majority stake (65%) since 2019.
Once the process is completed, Mumbai City FC will return to full ownership under Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and businessman Bimal Parekh.
