Ahead of tonight's clash at Everton, Madueke revisited his move from Chelsea to the Gunners. While there was some protest from a section of the Gunners support, Madueke insists he's never felt rejected.
"I've felt it since day one," he told Sky Sports' 'Premier League Show' about the welcome he received at his home stadium.
"I think we have a great bond. I feel them, I sense them in the stadium. I feel the affection they give me , and I want to use it as energy to score goals and win games for my team."
He added: "We live in an age where anyone can have an opinion online, positive or negative.
"You have to take it for what it is. You can't worry too much.
"But it's really important to try to build a connection with the people who support the team every week at the stadium. I think it's the least we can do: have that kind of relationship and give our our all on the pitch for them."
