Liverpool chiefs stall plans of Guehi offer

Crystal Palace blocked a deadline day move to Liverpool for Guehi after initially accepting a £35m bid.

Off contract in June, the England defender is prepared to run down his deal and leave Palace next summer. 

With Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and PSG all keen, Sky Sports says Liverpool are weighing up making a new offer in January for Guehi.

However, Reds chiefs are yet to make a final decision over whether to make a new bid, knowing they can sign Guehi for nothing next summer.
