Everton snatched a late draw against Brighton at the weekend as the club kept their excellent record on the road with four wins, two draws and one defeat from past seven games.
Now, the Toffees sit only two points behind rivals Liverpool and four behind fourth-placed Manchester United as the side aim to jump into the European spots in what would be an incredible feat for manager David Moyes.
Branthwaite has returned to the side in recent weeks and spoke recently on what the squad’s ambitions are for this season after almost being relegated last season.
“Every game is massive now. We want Europe - we’ve said that since the start of the season.
“As long as we keep picking up points, we might look at the end of the season, and we are in Europe by a point. So, every game's huge, and we've just got to keep going like that.
On the addition of Tyrique George: “Competition in every squad’s the best thing. It drives everyone to be as good as they can each day and pushes the standard in training, which only leads to better performances in the game.”
Fulham will be a test for Everton this weekend as they sit level on points with Everton but one place above in the table due to a better goal difference. A win could launch the side into 7th place as they climb up the table.
