Spurs dismissed caretaker manager Igor Tudor on Sunday and have settled on Roberto de Zerbi as their priority appointment.
However, the former Olympique Marseille coach would prefer to wait until the summer before returning to management, so leaving Spurs with the scenario of hiring another caretaker manager.
Hutter has been mentioned as a short-term solution, but insists he is in no rush to return to the bench after his axing at ASM earlier this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports Austria, he said: "In the last few days and weeks, I have been increasingly linked with various clubs.
"However, as I already said immediately after my time at Monaco, I fundamentally want to work as a head coach again at the beginning of the new season at the earliest. My stance on this topic has not changed since then."
