Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle has torn into Bukayo Saka after his post match interview against Wolves.

After collapsing to Wolves on Wednesday night, only Crystal Palace and West Ham (both 8) have dropped more points from winning positions in the Premier League in 2026 than Arsenal (7).

The Gunners will be feeling the pressure as the title race heats up, with Manchester City closing in on the North London side.

City are five points behind with a game in hand following Arsenal’s draw which Saka said was like a punishment.

Speaking after the game, Hoddle stated that Saka did not look right and should have been more positive once the final whistle blew.

"I look at Arsenal against Brentford and Wolves and I just feel they’re starting to doubt themselves," Hoddle told Premier League Productions. "A few months ago they weren't doing that... but they’re doubting themselves, and now they’re under pressure, and it’s all about the mentality.

On Saka’s post match interview: "That’s interesting, that, because he was the skipper tonight. For me, he was very honest, very honest there saying they need to do better... blah blah blah. But his demeanour for me wasn’t right. Your demeanour needs to be a little bit more up, he was very flat, very flat."

Arsenal next face Tottenham in the North London Derby on Sunday, a day after City meet Newcastle in a game where they can shorten the gap to just two points.

City have a strong chance at collecting 3 points as The Magpies are without their captain Bruno Guimaraes and have failed to win any of the 10 league games the Brazilian has missed since his debut in 2022.
