Now, according to Sky Sports, Everton are hoping to sign the winger, who only has one-year left on his contract at St James’ Park.
Eddie Howe’s side are set for a busy summer having already let star men Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon leave, with Bruno Guimaraes pushing for a move to Arsenal.
It’s understood that Everton are also keen on making Jack Grealish’s move from Man City permanent, although they haven’t activated the £50 million option to buy included in the deal.
