The 27-year-old secured a move to Arsenal from Crystal Palace for a reported fee of £67.5 million this summer, turning down an offer from rivals Tottenham in the process.
Eze came through the North London club’s famous Hale End academy but was released at the age of 13 before working his way up the English football pyramid.
He is currently away with the England national team and was asked about whether he was ever worried Arsenal wouldn’t make an offer.
Speaking to the Independent, he responded: "Worried? No. Because I play football. That’s what I do and wherever I am, I want to be the best I can be and I’m confident I’ll do that wherever I am.
“I’m grateful that its Arsenal and that I’ve got the opportunity to play there and do what I do and I’m looking forward to it."
