Benjamin Sesko struck in injury-time for United to cancel out Tomas Soucek's opener, created by Diouf, on the night.
“We are disappointed with the result, because we wanted the three points and they got the goal in the 96th minute,” Diouf told whufc.com.
“We knew it was going to be a difficult game, because they are a really good team. We’ve seen that recently, because they won their last four games before tonight.
“It was really tough, but we had good energy and emotions, and we did well. We have to find consistency because we need more points to stay in the league, and we will keep fighting to do that.
“It’s my job to try and win every game, and to try and help us score goals. We have lots of talented players in the team, so it’s up to me to look forward and try to get assists in every game. Thankfully I played a part today, and we’ll all keep working.”
