Garnacho was sold by United to Chelsea in the final days of the summer market after falling out with Amorim.
The then United manager urged the Argentina winger to find himself new club at the end of last season as he wasn't in his plans.
He was subsequently barred from preseason training by Amorim and worked with his fellow outcasts before being sold to Chelsea.
After seeing Monday's news online, Garnacho 'liked' a post from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirming Amorim's dismissal.
