According to Brazilian outlet FogaoNET, Chelsea are the latest side to register an interest in Santos and have made an enquiry to current club Botafogo.
Chelsea face some serious competition, however, with Arsenal, Man United, and Newcastle all said to be tracking him.
Botafogo currently value the midfielder at around £34 million, with former club Nottingham Forest still owed money from his previous transfer.
