He told Telefoot: "Koundé? We are two fullbacks in this team, so obviously, there is competition that is taking hold.
"Jules has a slightly more defensive profile due to his past positions, and I think I have a slightly more offensive profile, perhaps a little more dynamic.
"But afterwards, it all depends on what the game asks, what the coach asks. I'm just getting ready.
"(But) yes, of course, it's about being a starter. If I'm here, it's not to sit on the bench all my life. I want to play too, there are big deadlines coming up, it would already be a great pride to be in the group, and to be a starter if necessary."
