Botman admits Newcastle inquest over poor away form

The Dutchman was speaking after their impressive Champions League win against PSV.

Newcastle's season has been held back due to their poor away form and Botman told ChronicleLive: "Sometimes it’s hard to tell.

"You ask yourself and your team-mates.

"The results haven’t been great away from home this season and we definitely want to change that. It’s hard to put a finger on what the reason is.

"We need a better level away from home and to be more consistent. We don’t want to be a team that’s only going to be good at home."
