Aston Villa will reportedly need to raise a significant amount of money from player sales this summer due to UEFA's spending rules, with Ollie Watkins on the chopping block.

Villa have broken UEFA spending rules in each of the last two seasons, leaving Unai Emery’s in a tight spot ahead of the 2026-27 season.

UEFA state that clubs cannot spend more than they earn on transfers, meaning they could be forced to sell players this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Turkish side Fenerbahce are interested in signing Watkins, and would be willing to give him a significant pay rise.

Fellow England international Morgan Rogers has also been linked with a move, but Villa won’t consider his sale for anything less than £130 million.
