Brentford boss Keith Andrews admitted some frustration after today's 0-0 draw with Fulham.

The result leaves the Bees sitting in seventh place on equal points with sixth place Chelsea on the Premier League table.

Andrews said afterwards: "If any team was likely to win, it was probably going to be us. Very happy with the performance levels but at times a clinical edge would have made a difference. The performance from the players was outstanding.

"We were trying to probe to create problems for the opposition and I was happy with how we played and approached the game. If there was any team going to win it, it should have been us.

"I don't think they had a shot on goal. You're talking about really good players and a really good coach in how he sets them up. I was very proud of them."

On this being a fifth consecutive draw, Andrews reflected: "When I look at the draws over that period, I don't think there were any where we shouldn't have got one point. We aren't approaching it in a way to get draws and we dust ourselves off and go again next week."

Asled about the prospect of European competition, he added: "We're on a really exciting journey, we approach every game to win it and I don't mind that."
