Paris FC eye move for Lorient defender Arsene Kouassi

The left-back joined Les Merlus from AC Ajaccio last summer for just €1.2m and quickly established himself as a key player. 

In his debut campaign, he scored twice and provided eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions, underlining his attacking threat from defence.

His performances have not gone unnoticed, with interest already building from several Ligue 1 clubs. 

Paris FC, who are expected to appoint Liam Rosenior as their new head coach, have reportedly made contact with the player’s representatives and presented their long-term project.

 Olympique Marseille have also shown interest, but their financial constraints make Lorient’s €10m valuation difficult to meet.
