Esteban Lepaul has committed his long-term future to Rennes by signing a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2030.

The 26-year-old striker enjoyed a sensational campaign, finishing among Ligue 1’s top scorers with 21 goals and outperforming several of the league’s biggest stars, including Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembele and Marseille’s Mason Greenwood.

His prolific form played a key role in Rennes securing a sixth-place finish and qualification for next season’s UEFA Europa League.

Lepaul only joined the club from Angers last summer in a deal worth around €14 million, initially signing a four-year contract.

His impressive performances quickly attracted interest from major European clubs, including Atlético Madrid and Napoli.

Despite that attention, Rennes have moved swiftly to secure the forward’s services, rewarding him with a new long-term deal as they prepare for another campaign in Europe.
