Speaking on Bein Sports this week, Wenger said: "Real Madrid has a question mark over Vinicius."
The 76-year-old Frenchman stressed that "I am not completely convinced that Vinicius' future lies at Real Madrid."
Wenger maintains that Vinicius' behaviour during his substitution in the El Clásico "has not been accepted at Real Madrid" and emphasised that "Real Madrid has always had one desire: to demonstrate that the club is bigger than any player".
Significantly, after over a year of talks, Real Madrid and Vini Jr are no closer to finding an agreement over a new contract. His current deal runs to 2027.
