The Sevilla-owned striker has confirmed he will appeal the court’s decision, insisting he maintains his innocence.
The ruling was delivered by the Provincial Court of Valencia over an incident that reportedly took place at his home in August 2024.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Mir said he “does not agree with the sentence” and vowed to challenge it through his legal team in the coming days, adding that he still trusts in justice.
The court found that Mir assaulted a woman after meeting her at a nightclub before returning to his villa, relying on detailed testimony from the victim.
He has also been ordered to pay compensation and is subject to a restraining order.
