"We could consider a match in the new Casablanca stadium (a stadium Morocco is finalising for the 2030 World Cup with a capacity of 115,000 spectators). Why not?" Tebas acknowledged.

Tebas explained that "considering the number of fans who follow the Spanish league in Morocco, I think it would be easier to play there, especially because the logistical difficulties related to travel are minimal."

The president of LaLiga emphasised that the expansion of the LaLiga in the Middle East and North Africa region is "very important".

He added: "We are witnessing incredible passion for LaLiga throughout the region, from Iraq to Morocco. With Morocco, in particular, there are special historical ties that are also reflected in the world of football."
