Satriano was the matchwinner as Getafe stunned Real Madrid 1-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Beyond the result, another flashpoint was Rudiger's ugly challenge on Getafe fullback Diego Rico, with the Real defender's actions drawing calls in his native Germany for him to be omitted from their World Cup squad.

Satriano said today: “I was very close to him, and what I saw live was that he hit him in the face with his knee.

"I didn't understand the referee's decision. It was a mistake that shouldn't have happened; it put Diego's health at risk. I hope they pay more attention to the next plays.”

The Argentine added, "When I arrived, they tried to distract me with all the trophies, with everything they had won. I tried to stay focused on my own thing, on doing my job. I already knew that together we were going to be able to win.”
