And Nagelsmann was clear during the International Coaches' Congress in Leipzig: "He's our number one, but only if he's healthy and a regular at his club."
The former Bayern coach explained that he is in constant contact with the goalkeeper and expects his return by the end of the year: "In my thoughts, I know that Marc will be back in December, play the friendlies in March and June, and then play in the World Cup."
But he added, "We have many ideas and good solutions."
