The Stamford Bridge club are on the hunt for a new left-back following Marc Cucurella’s €60 million move to Real Madrid.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, Chelsea are in turn looking to sign Carreras, 23, from the LaLiga giants and have made a £21 million bid.
Alonso is a big fan of Carreras having signed him and worked with the youngster during his brief spell at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid have since rejected the offer, however, with the player also keen on stay and fight for his place at the club.
