The teenage midfielder is joining PSG after they agreed to meet the €6m buyout clause in his Barca contract.
Laporta said on Sunday evening: "We'll discuss it when it's all finalised. He's announced he won't be continuing. It's an unpleasant situation. We'll be able to rectify the situation as it was initially presented. It was a surprise.
"We had agreed on another solution for Dro when he turned 18, and surprisingly, his agent told us we couldn't honour our agreement."
Laporta also said: "We will try to ensure it ends in the best possible way for Barça."
Barca are pushing PSG to cough up an extra €2.5m in bonuses for Dro so to maintain positive relations.
