Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala insists he has no issues with new Manchester City goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma.

A collision between the pair when Bayern met PSG in the Club World Cup left Musiala with a fractued fibula and dislocated ankle.

However, Musiala says he holds no grudge against the Italian: "He looked for the ball, it wasn't intentional. He texted me straight away, saying everything's fine. These things happen in football."

The Germany international also told BILD: "Watching my teammates from the stands is painful. I already know that when I return, I'll do what I love. It's my daily motivation.

"I want to return to the pitch when I'm truly ready. There's no point in rushing. The important thing is to be fully fit, especially with the World Cup in mind."
