Parker, 45, left his position at Burnley after their relegation back to the Championship was confirmed, with four games of the 2025-26 season left.

Now, Burnley have confirmed the appointment of Nicky Hayen, 45, from Belgian side KRC Genk on a three-year deal.
Hayen joined Genk last December having previously won a Belgian First Division title with Club Brugge back in 2023-24.
"I'm pleased to be joining a club with real history and supporters who care deeply about it," he told the club website.
"I know most of them won't know much about me yet, that's fair and it's on me to change it."
