Fabrizio Romano has teased Bradley Barcola's move to Liverpool as he prepares to leave Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG have reportedly been trying to tie the France international to a new contract for the past 12 months, but talks have not progressed between the club and the 23-year-old.

Liverpool may have already signed one winger this summer in the form of Victor Munoz from Osasuna but after losing Mohamed Salah and having Hugo Ekitike out until what may be Boxing Day, manager Andoni Iraola is desperate for reinforcements before the season starts.

Over the past several weeks, it became clear that RB Leipzig star and key Liverpool target Yan Diomande preferred a move to Paris Saint-Germain, accelerating a bid for Barcola this month.

Now, Romano has teased a move as he posted “👀🇫🇷” on a retweeted posted of:

“Bradley Barcola situation remains absolutely open as he’s high on Liverpool list, as reported for months.

“If both Diomande/Akliouche join PSG, Barcola future could change in case of big proposal.

“Liverpool keen since summer 2025.”

The bad news for the Reds is that fellow transfer guru David Ornstein reported this week that Barcola’s fee would be “higher” than Elliot Anderson’s £116M move to Manchester City.

He also stated that PSG do not want to distract Barcola from his international duties at the World Cup. France face Spain in the Semi Final tonight and if Les Bleus are eliminated, the move may advance as the winger returns to Europe.

A fee of over £116M would be far higher than what Liverpool are willing to pay however, meaning negotiations may be tough over the coming weeks as Iraola tries to land his man.
