Earlier this month, Sky Sports News reported that the two clubs had reached an agreement worth £34 million (€40.5m), with a further £3.8 million (€4.5m) in performance-related bonuses.
Ederson is also understood to have agreed a four-year contract, which includes an option for an additional season.
The 26-year-old recently received a late call-up to Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad after Wesley was ruled out through injury.
He made an appearance off the bench as Brazil secured their first victory of the tournament with a win over Haiti on Sunday.
"I have to wait. Now I have to enjoy this moment, then we will see,” Ederson told Sky Italy.
"Certainly, everything is almost done, but now I to enjoy this moment. This is a wonderful experience and you have to enjoy the most."
