Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas has hit back at Barcelona defender Gerard Pique over his taunts on Saturday. After lifting the Copa del Rey, Casillas confirmed Pique did mock Real's players at the end of their Liga 1-1 draw.
"There's no getting around it. He knows what he said, I did not hear it but my teammates did and so there it is," smiled Casillas.
"He's the nicest guy and is destined to be the captain of La Roja."
In the mixed zone, former Manchester United defender Pique again protested his innocence.
"At no time did I say those words. It did not come out of my mouth. The atmosphere after the game in the locker room is hot, but I never said that."
