Manchester United continue to be linked with a takeover bid by Qatar Holdings.
The Mirror says Qatar Holdings will fly to the USA this week in a bid to broker a deal to buy Manchester United from the Glazer family.
Chairman of Qatar Holdings - an investment vehicle for the Qatari Royal Family - Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani, who is also Qatar's Prime Minister, has instructed their team of high-powered lawyers to thrash out an agreement with the Glazer family.
The Glazers last week denied reports they were ready to sell the club.
Qatar Holdings are said to have set aside £2.5 billion to acquire Manchester United, which would make them the wealthiest club in the world with unrivalled spending power.
