Newcastle Jets midfielder Ben Kantarovski has been invited to trial with German powerhouse Bayern Munich.

The 17-year old was awarded the Jets Player of the Year last season in a wonderful effort and his achievements haven't gone unnoticed.

After the Jets take on Japanese club Nagoya Grampus in their next match of the Asian Champions League on April 7, Kantarovski will link up with Bayern for a trial.

The youngster will be rubbing his shoulders with some of the world's best players including Franck Ribery, Miroslav Klose, Lukas Podolski and Mark van Bommel.
