Fenerbahce ace Nani is being linked with a shock return to Manchester United.

Turkish outlet DHA says Jose Mourinho is keen to re-sign the 29-year-old as he conducts an overhaul of the squad he inherited from Louis van Gaal.

Nani has a £6.3m release clause in his contract but the Red Devils are not prepared to pay that much for their former player.

And he has apparently agreed personal terms in case United do follow through with their interest.

Nani left Old Trafford permanently last summer, joining Fenerbahce after eight seasons in England.
