Manchester United boss David Moyes is ready to make an offer for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman. The Daily Star says Moyes will make £10m Dutch international Strootman his first signing as Manchester United boss, according to sources in Holland.

Moyes chased PSV midfielder Strootman, 23, while he was at Everton.

He requested detailed scouting reports on the Holland star and was keen to sign him on at Goodison Park.

And now, months later, he's finally got his man - at Old Trafford.

The new United boss wants Strootman to come in and replace Paul Scholes, who hung up his boots at the end of the season.
