Arsenal hero Lukas Podolski admits he's eyeing a return to Germany.

The former Gunners star is playing in Japan with Vissel Kobe, where he is tied until 2019, but admits he'd like to return to FC Koln.

"I have never denied that I want to play for FC again. Why should I talk around the bush? But I do not need to say anything," said Podolski.

"Koln is my club and means a lot to me.

"It would make me proud to once again wear their jersey."
