Moggi rubbishes Allegri style complaints at Juventus: Look at Sarri!

Former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi has dismissed complaints about coach Max Allegri's style of play.

It's been suggested Allegri could be axed this summer over concerns about the way Juve play under his guidance.

Moggi told Radio Bianconera: "If Allegri was approached again by Arabia in January? Have you ever seen Johnny Stecchino? He, from the stage, said 'you are talkers'. Juventus is second on the table with Allegri: what are we looking for?

"Let's not end up like (Maurizio) Sarri, who by all accounts was hired to improve the game: this coach was placed in a context that didn't respect him. In the only year in which he remained at Juventus he not only worsened the collective of the team, but, at times, he risked losing the scudetto that he won. If he had stayed another year the team would have been relegated to Serie B."

On Juve's future, Moggi said: "Juve has some interesting youngsters that they need to assemble, but they need to get players who know how to teach football like my (Zinedine) Zidane and (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic were. I don't know the locker room and these are some things that the current management should take care of."
