Elliott: Liverpool fans key against Atalanta

Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott feels the fans will be key against Atalanta.

Atalanta are at Liverpool tomorrow for the first-leg of their Europa League quarterfinal.

Elliott said: "It's not that different, the preparation is the same.

"It's the same as we would prepare for any other game. It's about going out there and putting on our best performance against a tough side so for us, we're ready for anything and we need to make sure we're prepared.

"We know that they're a very attacking team, they've scored a lot of goals this season so we're expecting that. We're going to have to be very organised defensively because we know that they'll take their opportunities.

"They're a strong team with some great players that could cause us some problems. We'll be analysing them and then come tomorrow, hopefully we'll be aware of the ins and outs of what they do.

"We just need to make sure we focus on our best performances and hopefully that will bring a positive result for us."

He added: "It's our fans, they're just amazing. Not just at Anfield but everywhere, they travel all over the world to support us and they drive us on. They're our 12th man and walking out to "You'll Never Walk Alone" at Anfield, there's no better buzz.

"Even on a bad day they get behind us. Anfield is one of a kind and our fans are extremely special.

"I'm sure we'll be hearing exactly that tomorrow night."
