Liverpool manager Klopp admits ignoring Arsenal, Man City games

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be ignoring his title rivals for as long as possible.

The German head coach admitted that he has no interest in watching Arsenal or Manchester City.

The three clubs are locked in the Premier League title race with nine games to go.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of a game against Sheffield United on Wednesday, Klopp said: "I didn't even know that they play tonight. It's really not my subject.

“How I always was I expect them to always win, that's not possible when they play against each other but now they don't do that anymore so I expect them always to win. It's not about that. We need to get our points and win our football games. I'm honestly not interested.

"I told you the one story years ago when I watched a game and wanted Leicester City to win, didn't happen.

“That was the last time that I did that [watched a title rival]. You learn from the past, when they play my heart rate doesn't go up."
