Atalanta are open to setting up a swap deal for Teun Koopmeiners.

While Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked with the Dutchman, Juventus are regarded as favourites in Italy to land the midfielder.

And key to the deal could be Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini's admiration for Dean Huijsen, says Gazzetta.it.

The defender is on a straight loan with Roma to June and could be included in Juve's offer for Koopmeiners. La Dea rate their midfielder in the €60m class.

Just last week, Koopmeiners told De Telegraaf: "I told Atalanta that I want to move next summer. I hope that options arise to reflect on. In Bergamo my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time, I hope that Atalanta collects a good sum from me.

"Already last year there was a concrete interest from Napoli. But the clubs did not manage to reach an agreement."
