Zaccagni has less than 18 months to run on his existing deal and agent Mario Giuffredi has admitted disappointment over a lack of recent contact with president Claudio Lotito.

Giuffredi told Corriere di Roma: "I haven't heard from anyone for forty days from the club.

"I don't know if Lotito has anything else to do, but evidently the renewal of my client is not his priority, otherwise he would find time to fix the problem.

"In the summer we will look around."
