In early December, the 23-year-old goalkeeper will move to Como, which he signed for over the summer.
"I have a week now to understand that I am going to Italy. I have wanted to live in the present because it has been something so special, it is perhaps something I will never experience again. I have been in that bubble but I will have to pierce it soon," Törnqvist told Fotbollskanalen.
"At first I had almost booked a vacation, but then Como called and said they wanted me there earlier. It was crazy fun in a way, but I also thought: 'Damn' in another way."
On his farewell video posted by Mjallby to social media, he added: "It was actually really hard. It gets a little emotional even now when I talk about it."
