Al-Qadsiah officials are said to have held discussions with Porto in recent hours about a potential transfer.
Porto are reportedly willing to let the 29-year-old leave and have set his valuation at around €10m.
Sanusi joined the Portuguese giants from Santa Clara in 2020 and has won eight domestic trophies.
