Tottenham have won just two of their 15 home games this season, losing nine as their winless start to 2026 continues under manager Igor Tudor who has lost his first 4 games in charge.
Spurs are just one point above the relegation zone with nine games remaining and many believe that they will drop to the Championship as the final stage of the season heats up.
Due to the fear of dropping down a division, Tottenham have sent a message to fans who are hesitant to renew their season tickets.
"We recognise the seriousness of the current league position of our men's team and, following discussions with our Fan Advisory Board and the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust, can confirm the renewal period for 2026/27 will now remain open for an extended period until Sunday June 7th to ensure fans have full clarity of next season before renewing."
The North London side are one point above Nottingham Forest in 17th and 18th-place West Ham, who sit in the final relegation spot.
Tudor’s side face Premier League champions Liverpool this Sunday before Nottingham Forest the following weekend. If no points are picked up then relegation will be almost certain for the club, especially if teams below them perform well.
