Asked about the reports, Tomasson said: "It is a great compliment for him.
"Brighton is a fantastic club. They have a very clear way of playing football and a very clear way of working as well. They use a lot of data in their recruitment.
"For Sweden, it is not only important to get players abroad, but also coaches."
