Nottingham Forest have reportedly reached an agreement with Juventus to sign midfielder Nicolo Savona on a permanent transfer.

Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo has been pushing the club to sign new full backs to cover Ola Aina and Neco Williams throughout the summer.

Now, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, they have agreed a deal with Juventus so sign Savona, 22.

Romano adds that the fee is expected to be in excess of €15 million with the two clubs swapping paper work ahead of the medical.

The Italian, who is a versatile defender capable of playing anywhere across the backline, made 40 appearances across all competitions last season.
