Now, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Guehi’s move to Liverpool is now in ‘jeopardy’ as Crystal Palace struggle to sign a replacement.
Palace manager Oliver Glasner has been adamant that the England international will now be sold unless the club are able to bring in an adequate replacement.
Igor Julio was expected to join from Brighton but that deal has since collapsed and the Brazilian now looks set to join West Ham.
