Man United are reportedly ready to drop out of the race to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson after being quoted record breaking fee.

Anderson, 23, has been a breakout Premier League star this season, and has been heavily linked with a move away from Nottingham Forest.

Man United, Man City, Liverpool, and Arsenal are all said to be keeping tabs on his situation, but Forest won’t be letting him leave for cheap.

According to ESPN, United are ready to pull out of the race to sign Anderson after they were quoted a massive £120m price tag.

The report states that United view Forest’s asking price as vastly inflated, with the club looking to spend around £80m to £90m on a top new midfielder.
