Manchester United have reportedly made a 'concrete' approach for Elliot Anderson, but Nottingham Forest are holding out for a hefty fee.

Ruben Amorim’s side are looking to overhaul their midfield next summer, with Anderson, 23, one of their priority targets.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, United have registered a ‘concrete interest’ in the England international, but Forest won’t let him go for cheap.

It’s understood that the club are reluctant to sell and will demand a fee of around £100–120 million for Anderson.

United were quoted a similar price by Brighton for Carlos Baleba, forcing them to pull out of a deal for the Cameroon international this summer.
