Ruben Amorim’s side have been looking to sing a new striker this summer following a disappointing season from current options Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
It would appear they’ve settled on Sesko, 22, as they priority target, and have informed RB Leipzig they will make an offer soon, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Sesko has been expected to leave the German club this summer after their failed to qualify for European football in their worst season since promotion to the Bundesliga.
Man United won’t have a free run at the striker, however, with Newcastle also ready to make a bid as they prepare for Alexander Isak’s potential move to Liverpool.
