Man United’s upbeat dressing room atmosphere has reportedly turned sombre after a dreadful start to the new season under Ruben Amorim.

Several players had spoken about how optimistic they were ahead of the new season while on United’s pre-season tour of the USA.

According to Manchester Evening News, that mood has since soured following their 3-0 derby day defeat to Man City on Sunday (September 14).

It’s understood the squad are increasingly worried about the lack of progress under Amorim, with just four points from their opening four league games.

United will face as of yet unbeaten Chelsea at Old Trafford on Saturday (September 20) with the West London club having failed to win there since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.
