He'll be there: Why Guardiola will be on Man City bench for Carabao Cup final despite ban

A sixth booking of the season in the FA Cup win at Newcastle on Saturday will bring a two-match for Guardiola.

However,  the ban only applies to FA Cup and Premier League games, and not European matches or domestic cup finals.

As such, Guardiola will be able to take his place at Wembley for the March 22 Carabao Cup final.

The Catalan served a one-match ban earlier this year after collecting his first three bookings over the season.
